Terms and Conditions of Use – BeTogether
1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to BeTogether.
These Terms and Conditions (“T&C;”) govern access to and use of the
BeTogether digital platform, including the website, mobile application,
integrated payment systems, messaging functionalities, and related services.
By accessing, registering, or using the platform, the user declares that
they have read, understood, and fully accepted these T&C.
2. DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of these Terms:

“BeTogether” means the digital platform managed by
TITANUS S.R.L.

“Platform” means the website, mobile app, software,
infrastructure, and related digital services.

“User” means any registered person or platform user.

“Provider” means the user offering a service.

“Client” means the user requesting or purchasing a
service.

“Service” means any activity, task, or request published
by users.

“Payment Provider” means authorized third-party payment
processors, including Stripe.

“OTP” means the one-time verification code used to confirm
service completion.
3. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM
BeTogether is a technological intermediation platform between private users.
The platform allows users to:
- publish service requests;
- offer services;
- communicate with each other;
- make payments through third-party providers;
- leave reviews and ratings.
TITANUS S.R.L. operates exclusively as the technical-administrative entity
and infrastructure manager of the platform.
BeTogether:
- does not directly provide services;
- does not act as an employer;
- does not operate as an employment agency;
- does not assume the role of professional service provider;
- does not materially supervise the execution of services;
- is not a contractual party in relationships between users.
Any relationship concerning services published on the platform exists
exclusively between the involved users.
4. REQUIREMENTS FOR USE
To use the platform, the user must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- have legal capacity;
- provide accurate and updated information;
- use the platform in compliance with the law.
The following are prohibited:
- creating fake accounts;
- impersonating third parties;
- using fraudulent identities;
- bypassing security systems;
- using unauthorized automated software.
BeTogether may verify user identities at any time.
5. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
The user is responsible for safeguarding their credentials.
The user agrees that:

any activity performed through their account is presumed to have been
performed by the user;

the account is personal and non-transferable;

unauthorized access must be reported immediately.
BeTogether may request:
- email verification;
- phone verification;
- identification documents;
- selfies or biometric verification.
6. PERMITTED AND PROHIBITED SERVICES
The following are prohibited:
- illegal services;
- activities lacking required authorizations;
- undeclared work;
- exploitation;
- offensive, discriminatory, or violent content;
- paid sexual activities;
- sale of illegal substances;
- abusive financial activities;
- scams;
- money laundering;
- fraudulent external payment requests.
BeTogether may:
- remove content;
- suspend accounts;
- block transactions;
- limit functionalities;
- report activities to competent authorities.
7. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
Users are solely responsible for:
- published information;
- uploaded content;
- execution of services;
- legal compliance of their activities;
- tax and social security obligations;
- required authorizations.
Users agree to use the platform under their sole responsibility.
8. PAYMENTS AND COMMISSIONS
Payments on the platform are managed through authorized third-party
providers, including Stripe.
BeTogether:
- does not hold user funds;
- does not operate as a financial institution;
- does not provide banking services;
- does not manage wallets or deposits.
For each completed transaction, BeTogether retains an 8% commission on the
total transaction amount.
9. OTP SYSTEM AND SERVICE CONFIRMATION
To reduce fraud and disputes, BeTogether uses an OTP system.
At the end of the service:
- the Client receives an OTP code;
- the Client communicates the code to the Provider;

correct entry of the code digitally confirms service completion.
The OTP constitutes presumptive technical evidence of service execution.
10. REFUNDS AND DISPUTES
Any disputes must be communicated through the official platform tools.
BeTogether may:
- temporarily suspend payment;
- request documentation;
- conduct anti-fraud checks;
- limit involved accounts.
BeTogether does not guarantee automatic refunds.
11. SAFETY AND USER MEETINGS
Users are responsible for their online and offline interactions.
BeTogether does not guarantee:
- users’ real identity;
- users’ behavior;
- physical safety during meetings;
- quality or reliability of services.
12. ANTI-FRAUD SYSTEMS
BeTogether uses automated and manual anti-fraud systems.
The platform may:
- monitor suspicious activities;
- limit transactions;
- block accounts;
- request additional verification.
13. REVIEWS AND REPUTATION
Users may leave reviews regarding their experiences.
Reviews must:
- be truthful;
- refer to real experiences;
- not contain defamatory or offensive content.
14. PRIVACY AND GDPR
BeTogether processes personal data in compliance with GDPR and applicable
laws.
Processed data may include:
- identification data;
- geolocation;
- messages;
- service history;
- technical information;
- payment-related data.
15. DSA AND CONTENT MODERATION
BeTogether adopts moderation and reporting procedures compliant with the
Digital Services Act (DSA).
Users may report:
- illegal content;
- abusive activities;
- fraudulent behavior;
- violations of these T&C.
16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Trademarks, logos, software, design, content, and platform functionalities
belong to BeTogether or respective owners.
The following are prohibited:
- copying;
- reproducing;
- modifying;
- distributing;
- reverse engineering.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeTogether shall not be liable for:
- quality of services;
- damages caused by users;
- non-performance of services;
- data loss;
- loss of profits;
- indirect damages;
- disputes between users;
- unlawful conduct;
- platform interruptions.
18. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”.
BeTogether does not guarantee:
- continuous operation;
- absence of errors;
- uninterrupted availability;
- economic results;
- absolute reliability of users.
19. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
BeTogether may suspend or terminate accounts:
- for violations of the T&C;
- for security reasons;
- for suspected fraud;
- for regulatory obligations;
- upon request of authorities.
20. TAXATION AND DAC7
Users are solely responsible for:
- tax declarations;
- tax obligations;
- social security obligations;
- administrative authorizations.
21. MODIFICATIONS TO THE TERMS
BeTogether may modify these T&C; at any time.
Changes will be communicated through the platform or via email.
22. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These T&C; are governed by Italian law.
Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction provided by applicable
consumer protection laws.
23. Clauses Pursuant to Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code
The user specifically approves clauses relating to:
- limitation of liability;
- suspension and termination of accounts;
- unilateral modification of the T&C;;
- disclaimer of warranties;
- dispute management;
- anti-fraud systems;
- payment management;
- competent court jurisdiction.

25. ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS
By registering or using the platform, the user declares:
- to have read these T&C;;
- to have understood their content;
- to fully accept them;
- to use the platform under their sole responsibility.
