Terms and Conditions of Use – BeTogether

1. Introduction

Welcome to BeTogether, the platform that allows users to offer and request services in a simple and secure way. By using the app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Definitions

• Service Provider: The user who publishes a service.
• Service Seeker: The user who requests a service.
• Service: Any activity, job, or task published on the platform.
• Commission: The percentage retained by BeTogether on transactions.

3. Registration and Account

Users can browse the app without registration. To interact (book, message, publish a service), registration is required. Upon registration, users must provide accurate information. BeTogether may suspend or cancel accounts in case of misconduct.

4. Offered and Requested Services

Each user can publish offered services or service requests. Descriptions must be clear, honest, and not misleading. Illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

5. Commissions and Payments

BeTogether applies a commission fee on all transactions:

• 8% charged to the service provider.
• 4% charged to the service seeker.

Payments are processed through the secure in-app payment system.

6. Funds Management and Withdrawals

Payments received for services are shown in the account balance of the provider. Funds are available for withdrawal 60 minutes after the service has started. This ensures protection for both the service seeker and the provider. In case of disputes, funds may be frozen until resolved.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

If the seeker cancels at least 24 hours before the agreed time, they are entitled to a full refund. If cancellation occurs later or the seeker does not show up, the provider still receives the payment. If the service is not provided due to the provider’s fault, the seeker is entitled to a full refund.

8. Reputation, Reviews, and Reports

After each service, both parties can leave a review. Users can report misconduct. BeTogether may suspend users with repeated or severe reports.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data is processed in compliance with the GDPR. Some data (name, city, interests) will be publicly visible on the profile. Users can request deletion of their data by contacting support.

10. Limitation of Liability

BeTogether is not responsible for the quality of services provided by users. The platform only guarantees technical infrastructure and payment management. Users are solely responsible for their interactions.

11. Changes to the Terms

BeTogether may modify these Terms to improve security or services. Any changes will be communicated via app or email.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. The Court of Milan shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.
